Sistem Informasi Mitigasi bencana, Adaptasi perubahan Iklim dan Lingkungan (SIMAIL), as System Information for Disaster Mitigation, Climate and Environment Change Adaptation is activity of delivering weather, early warning of disaster and fishing areas addressed to residents on coastal and small island.
Simail exists for delivering compact information for residents and communities.
The informations are taken and compiled from various government media available on the internet.
Information delivery is done through Short Messaging Service (SMS) to registered mobile phone number, Running Text Display at the crowds, and Push Notification to the Simail Android Mobile Application, if installed on the device.Simail App installed device will receive information for the selected areas of user choice.
The application source of information is http://simail.kkp.go.id and the availability of information for selected areas is dependant to the operator to broadcast the information, if any.
